I know it’s been awhile since I last posted here. My attention was caught by some other things. As I mentioned on my post last month, I am going to share you guys a Hungarian/German recipe. So here it is.


Servings: 4-6 Person

Cooking time: 2 hours & 25 minutes

What you need:

1 kilo shoulder piece of beef, cut into serving size

2 pcs. onions, diced

1 or 2 garlic cloves, sliced

2 tbsp. Lard ( Schmalz or Butterschmalz)

2 – 3 bay leaves

1 tbsp.  sweet paprika powder

3 tbsp. tomato paste

350 ml red wine

200 ml water

Salt

Black pepper

Lemon zest

½ tsp. caraway seed

How to cook:
